The Utah Valley Artist Guild welcomes guests. Meetings are held monthly in the Meeting Room at University Mall in Orem at 7:00 PM on the last Thursday of each month except December or as otherwise arranged. Please consult calendar for exceptions. We provide instruction by knowledgeable artists and other experts on subjects relevant to the arts, opportunities for exhibition, critiques, promote the cause of art in Utah County. Annual membership of $35 confers exhibiting privileges and a mailed copy of newsletter as well as a listing in the online directory of artists and e-mail notifications of UVAG activities. A reduced fee of $30 deletes the mailed newsletter. A number of our member artists provide classes or individual instruction in their field of expertise. Follow the link above to learn more.

May UVAG Meeting Features Watercolor Master Ian Ramsay Our May UVAG meeting will take place on May 28 at 7 PM in the meeting room at University mall. Ian Ramsay was born in Farnborough, Kent, England in 1948. He spent his early years in Britain and Canada, and eventually settled in the United States. He received a degree in architecture at the University of Utah and is a licensed architect. In 1979 Ian left architecture to become a full time watercolor artist. Since that time he has traveled and painted extensively. His work has been exhibited all over the US, Japan and Britain. Ian has participated in many juried, invitational and one man shows throughout the US and Japan. He has been an instructor at the Salt Lake Art Center and has done numerous demonstrations and painting workshops. Ian and his wife Carol have been residents of the Salt Lake Valley in Utah for the last 35 years. .
